We helped this high-rise building to save $9,989 per annum in owners corporation management costs.

In March’18 we received a phone call from the Committee Secretary of a building in Melbourne’s CBD. The building was built in the early 2000’s and had been managed by the same owners corporation management company (OCM) ever since.

The standard of the cleaning of common areas and the gardening in the courtyard had become sub-par. The interest and involvement of the owners corporation manager (formerly known as body corporate manager) had waned. It was time for a fresh start.

We met with the Committee, gave them some general guidance on the contractual situation with the incumbent manager, understood the scope and conducted a thorough tender process.

The Committee shortlisted and interviewed 2 of the Qualified & Approved Management Companies we presented to them. The company they appointed assumed management of the owners corporation in mid-June, the Committee to date is pretty happy – and top it off, they saved $9,989 in management costs.
